Data Analyst

• Project is about integrating human biosample data on the platform related to human biosamples from clinical and non-clinical trials and other biosample-related data (e.g., research data, patient data, reference data, etc.). The platform aims to provide FAIR (Findable, Accessible Interoperable, and Reusable) clinical and non-clinical biosample data and assists in enriching and cleaning data and providing more efficient data flows.

• Responsibilities:

  • data analysis and cleaning in SQL;
  • data interpretation (analyzing data trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the business);
  • hypothesis testing (supporting statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to draw meaningful conclusions from data);
  • data documentation (recording data requirements in structured form in order to discuss them with key stakeholders as well as explain the details to the development team);
  • data presentation (effective communication of analytical results and insights to non-technical stakeholders).

• Requirements:

  • strong experience in data analysis, e.g. ETL/data analytics (Snowflake knowledge preferred);
  • experience in creating project documentation i.e. data specifications, requirements documentation, Jira tickets for development team;
  • experience in working in a multicultural, global work team;
  • preferred experience in pharmaceutical and life sciences industry;
  • relevant experience in biosample sample management as a DA/BA;
  • experience in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • identifies and acts upon opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement with the ability to influence and instigate change;
  • results-oriented with excellent coordination, organizational, and communication skills;
  • agile mindset, knowledge of agile frameworks in product delivery;
  • very good command of the English language (C1/C2).
