System Analyst

Poland (100% remote work possible)
We are looking for a System Analyst. It should be an open-minded, communicative person with a focus on the technology part of the solution. Good command of the English language is essential because all the communication and documentation prepared in the project will be in English. The perfect candidate shall have analytical thinking capabilities and a problem-solving mindset. System Analyst will be cooperating mainly with the technical team but will also support Business Analyst in contact with the customer to get acquainted with stakeholder needs, elicit requirements and translate them to solution requirements, which will then be documented in requirements specification documents.

Your skills & experience

  • Master's degree in Informatics or similar IT related area,
  • Experience at work as System Analyst in IT industry (preferably more than 2/3 years),
  • Fluent communication in English,
  • Understanding the technical aspects of IT systems,
  • Ability to prepare requirements specification documents with focus on technical specification and solution design,
  • Experience in data modeling and mapping (data flow diagrams),
  • Practical knowledge of how integration works (including designing workflow to handle integration between systems),
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL,
  • Knowledge and experience in development of web services (SOAP, REST),
  • Software development methodologies knowledge (including agile and waterfall approach),
  • Knowledge of business analysis phases and Business Analysts tasks within IT project life cycle,
  • Experience in requirements elicitation directly from Customer,
  • Experience in cooperation with technical team – Solution Architect, Dev Lead, Developers, Testers,
  • Ability to organize own work, prioritize tasks and act proactively,
  • Experience in data processing – extract, transform, load (ETL) - nice to have,
  • Experience in modeling system design and behavior using UML notation - nice to have,
  • Experience in cooperation with external vendors and system support teams - nice to have,
  • Experience in working for global corporation - nice to have,
  • Pharma industry experience - nice to have,
  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) or Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) - nice to have,
  • OMG Certified UML Professional (OCUP) certification - nice to have.
