    The Tooling Specialist/JIRA Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supporting Agile Teams within software and hardware management, across all three R&D sites. The Tooling Specialist/JIRA Administrator is an expert in our internal software tools and ensures relevant efficiency, usage and training, so that the collaboration between the teams and their members is smooth and seamless. The Tooling Specialist/JIRA Administrator ensures that hardware project equipment is always available to any team member, continuously teaching the organization and improving the way we manage our orders and stock. We expect a person in this role to be a superb team player and a proactive collaborator. In this highly collaborative role, the Tooling Specialist/JIRA Administrator is expected to:

  • Orchestrate software tools to foster collaboration:

    • Acting as an administrator or a super user for our key internal software tools, in particular: Jira and its add-ons – Jira Align in particular, Confluence, Miro, Figma
    • Configuring these, following the needs of various stakeholders and users
    • Onboarding and offboarding users and licenses
    • Proactively monitoring the usage
    • Collaborating with users and teams to continuously understand how they work and how the tools could further support their work
    • Collaborating with BI development teams on data flow and scope supplementing Jira and its add-ons, Jira Align in particular, acting as an engaged stakeholder
    • Being on top of new solutions, release notes, webinars to learn and further educate about new features of the software tools we use
    • Cooperating closely with IT Department
    • Cooperating with tools vendors on business and professional matters
  • Coordinate project hardware distribution to continuously optimize development flow:

    • Collecting hardware needs, such as hearing aids, connectivity devices and cables, smartphones, tablets etc., ensuring these are fulfilled in timely manner by partnering with relevant stakeholders and peers in other departments and sites
    • Conducting periodical inventory counts
    • Establishing and continuously measuring and improving project hardware management processes
    • Being on top of hardware types, generations, compatibility and how-To’s
    • Conducting troubleshooting, basic support and repairs
    • Preparing trainings and manuals
  • Competencies:

    • Education – preferably higher education
    • Experience – minimum 2 years of experience in IT administration, helpdesk, or technical support (JIRA)
    • Languages – English – Fluent, Polish – Fluent
